Chrysanthemum

Linda and I spotted two moorhens with their chicks on the canal this evening. I think that's the first time I've seen moorhen chicks. Just a little later we saw a duck with her four ducklings. It seems late in the summer to see these young birds, but very nice all the same.

The chrysanthemum is from a lovely bouquet Ian gave me :o)
