Whiskers Forward

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

It's the first day of my Xmas hols! I am not at work for the next two weeks!

This is quite exciting as I haven't had a holiday since LAST Xmas*.

It was also nice because I got to spend the day with Punky. He is still very quiet and not himself, but definitely better today. 

Caro made the observation of him, that when he's interested and engaged in something, he is "whiskers forward" because he really does twitch them out front when he's curious. 

And today was a "whiskers forward" sort of day. He had a reheated chicken tender, he explored the garden, climbed both cat trees and meowed at me to put him on top of the chest of drawers.

The top of the chest of drawers is one of his favourite places. 

He's back in bed now, recovering from his big day. But I'm happy that he's happier.
