In Clover

A walk by the canal at Brecon, South Wales yielded this photo of a member of the Umbelliferae (cow parsley, yarrow and the like) absolutely smothered in aphids! As a biologist I love this kind of thing as an aspect of ecology though I appreciate some may be freaked out a bit by it. The ladybird (if you can spot her) is in clover...
