The Gap

From out on the Canterbury Plains the Torlesse Range is distinguished not by its peaks, but by a rocky ridge between Castle Hill Peak and Mount Torlesse. A deep notch in the ridge is called The Gap. Here it can be seen about a quarter of the way along the skyline from the left.
