Christmas Day - Harbour Swim

WE came across this annual event by sheer chance when we moved here. Our temporary accommodation was just a couple of minutes walk away.

This year we made a special journey down. Sad to say the event was advertised as starting an hour or so before it did and were left standing in the cold.  I add that for dramatic affect as the cold I was feeling must have been a fraction what these brave swimmers were going through not just during the swim but also the 15 minutes or so they were standing around ready for the off.

I have lots of images, some lovely and had hoped to make a nice montage of them but my photoshop skills seem to have deserted me today.
