The News from the BBC

As I walked away from The Great Hall in Winchester I noticed a man with a camera looking down at the Winchester Combined Courts Centre. I wanted to get a shot of him looking at his phone; I imagined the title "slow news day". I missed the shot.

I did ask what he was covering. He said he was waiting for the reporter to come back as they were expecting the jury to return a verdict of a murder. The case relates to a man whose torso was found wrapped in a bin liner on a beach in Southsea.

I forgot to ask his name but I did find out he works for the BBC. So if you are lucky enough to get South Today and you see a piece about the murder this gentleman will have been behind the camera.
