Winter Sun

Possibly the only good thing about today,

Really cold outside if you were in the shade - the sun was actually quite warm.  And it's good to see it after what feels like months of grey.

And work was work. It's lot of contradictions - senior management say "Less bureaucracy is really important", management at my level say "document that in JIRA, also in Confluence and in our Intranet site and also in a HPSM Change".

Nothing annoys me more than being told to do stupid things - that no-one will ever read - and brings us nothing in the way of increased productivity.  It's like HAVING to write a status report every day for managers who will not understand a word of what you have written.

Quite a lot of growling here because these things are stupid.
