Maldives Diaries Day 1-Some Like it Hot:

Well safe to say, this has been a Christmas Eve like no other! After a very (very) long journey we arrived yesterday and settled into our little island set up. So far we are all in love with the Maldives. Mumma bear and I have a water room (along with 2 pet crabs) and Joyce has a beach room at the other side of the island, which is actually really cool because it means we can set up sun bathing camps at different points on the island. It’s actually quicker to swim to each other so after breakfast we did our swim tests the of the day was spent snorkelling. Joyce’s highlight was spotting a black tit reef shark. We are currently enjoying the Christmas Eve party, which has far exceeded our expectations- I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much food. Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas.
