Dry Valley

Day 4 of the Dales High Way, walking from Malham to Stainforth via Settle. This has been the best day so far, with stunning limestone scenery at Malham Cove, Watlowes (Dry Valley) and Attermire Scar. The dry valley was created by glacial meltwater running down to pour over the cliff of Malham Cove. What a sight it must have been!

I could have taken a week of blips today, and we have decided that another stay in Malham is essential.

We had a taxi to collect us from Stainforth and take us back to a B&B in the centre of Settle. It will return for us in the morning.
