Give me the money ......

........... honey!!!!

Day Seven - the last with BikerBear
(at the moment - we hope to be reunited somewhere along the way!!)

After studying the flags of the world (by walking all over them) T-Rex could not work out which currency he would need on the next leg of his travels (and I haven't told him where he is going) so he went to the bank and got some dollars and some euros to go with his five pound note ........ he's a very well prepared dino!!

Sadly The Beautiful Unicorn cannot go with him but she knows she is in his heart - as he is in hers.

Good bye T-Rex - it's been lovely having you to stay this week and I am going to miss our photographic fun - travel safe and keep up the good work - hopefully we will cross paths again one day soon.

(**BikerBear kisses and hugs T-Rex, gets out hankie and sniffs a lot**)

I dedicate my last T-Rex blip to all those whose lives will be affected by cancer, one way or another, in future days, months and years. Stay strong and fight hard.

PLEASE READ ON:

Please, please seek medical advice at the first signs of something "strange, odd or unusual" - the earlier this insidious disease is diagnosed the better chances there are of treatment and survival. I know this from personal experience.

Your family and friends will be devastated but think how much more their lives will be affected if they lose you .......

..... and remember, guys, men can get breast cancer too ....... around
2000 in the US
400 in the UK
150 in Australia and
25 in New Zealand
will be diagnosed this year - don't let it be you!!

Cancer does not discriminate - male, female, young, old, race, creed, colour, sexuality - it does not care but we should ..... check your "bits and bobs" on a regular basis - it is so easy and only takes a few minutes - it could save your life!!

We must also remember our four-legged family members too - so many pets these days are diagnosed with cancer ..... however hard the decision is we must put their comfort and quality of life before our own feelings .....

Lastly - thank you to Alecio for starting this project - and thank you for all your support over the past seven days - because of you two of these journal entries briefly featured on the spotlight page and, much, much more importantly, with a little bit of humour and some serious words, I hope they raised awareness of the awful effects cancer has on sufferers, their families and friends.

An afterthought ..... if you wish to, maybe you could put a link to this one on your blip so that it reaches more people than it otherwise would - (no need for stars as well - I'm not looking for the spotlight) - but just to spread the message a little bit more widely ............ thanks Ripitup for sowing that seed!!!
