Hazards on the road.

Coming back from Rubvale this afternoon, I saw these cattle that had decided it was time to cross the road. Too bad there was traffic, they just had to stop! The cattle, along with goats & horses roam around the common.
The Miners Common around the Sapphire & Rubyvale townships is an area of 11,000 acres, it was created in the 1890's and within the boundaries the miner was able to mine, build a dwelling and run a few livestock. These dwellings are not allowed to be permanent, so there are some very interesting looking ones.
These dwellings are one of the things that make this area so unique in Australia.
