Here we have Broda, the work in progress, the project for future winter days, with Aida at anchor in the bay.

Another hot and sunny day and more gardening to do. We are having a wonderful summer, just odd days of very hot weather and then haar but no real gales or storms. Everything is growing so well after the slow start in the spring.

Our garden isn't very big so plants that I don't have room for, but can't resist accepting from fellow gardeners, I end up planting out on the foreshore! It is also a good place to put plants with thuggish tendencies, like Crocosmia, New Zealand Flax and Libertia. These bigger plants shelter the smaller ones. There is quite a collection out there, and this Lysimachia certainly seems to be thriving!
