Jonathon

This is Jonathon, his Mum spent a lot of time trying to help Jonathon improve his running so he could play football better, no matter how hard she tried and lots of information from the web nothing seemed to work. I received an Email via our club web page seeking help, when I met Jonathon he was an uncoordinated runner, a good challenge for me. We started with some easy drills and asking him to run everyday for 10 mins with out stopping. This has taken some time but finally Jonathon has made some great progress. Jonathon is a great kid and plays for a local football team, the sad part of the story is when Jonathon was put in a team no one wanted him in the team. Well great things come to those who work hard and believe nothing is impossible. 5 weeks into coaching Jonathon won Player of the day for being fully involved in the game. Week number 7 Jonathon again won Player of the day this time for running the whole game and tackling the ball. Now in training he tackles the ball off all the players and has even started to take the ball off the better players. The great thing now is Jonathon is being treated more fairly by his team mates.
