The boys

This is the London Mets u-16 Baseball team celebrating an incredibly exciting last-inning win against the top team in their division (only the second time the visiting team had lost all season).

I love this picture. Here's a brilliant collection of kids from all over the world - from Ecuador to Hackney to Lithuania to Japan - playing together as a team and sharing the joy of a hard-fought win they all contributed to, every single one of them. It's what London is all about for me and it's one of the reasons I love this game. Go Mets!
