Snow Day

I woke up this morning to SNOW and more than 3 flakes of it! After breakfast Mumma bear and I decided to make the most of it so headed out on what we planned to be a short walk round the village but once we reached the bottom of the road, we headed across one of the lower fields where we found Stacy, Sheena, Esme and Jude walking with sledges. We would normally see them at New Year but with all the travelling, we missed the hall party this year. Esme told me she had a surprise to show me so we headed onto the farm where she revealed her new pony! She’s a very lucky girl and I’m sure she and Darcy will have lots of fun together.

The weather was looking dubious so Stacy suggested we should try to make the most of the snow. Her dad them hitched up a trailer and all except Sheena, Mumma bear and little Luca headed for further out on the farm where there are some hills. We enjoyed our time sledging before we needed to thaw out over some hot bread and tea. This was definitely the best way to end my holiday. Back to school tomorrow.
