It's My Birthday!

Russet (or Littlefields Jenny, as her pedigree tells us) is 9 years old today.
She enjoyed a roll on the grass early this morning, a good walk and then a snooze. During the rest of the morning she followed her owners around, in and out, and had a good bark at the postman and the invisible (but certainly real) dog next door.
At five o'clock she will have her (delicious) dinner, and possibly go for another short walk.
As she belongs to people who are now retired, she has plenty of company, and gets very excited when the children and grandchildren come to stay.
A large garden and country walks every day, and even a holiday by the sea from time to time.
A dog's life?
