Any old iron

Matt and I took advantage of the blue skies to have a quick ride to Whitesands this morning.

There's a great stretch of shore between there and Barns Ness lighthouse. As well as fossilized coral and grooves in the rock carved by Ice Age glaciers, there are all sorts of intriguing bits of rusted iron here and there.
