Shegra

We were up early-ish today as the plan was to do the ferry then mini-bus to Cape Wrath. We got there in time but unfortunately there was bad news. One minibus had just left and the other had burst a spring, they were fixing it but it meant it would be 1pm before we could do the trip.

We gave up and consoled ourselves with coffee and chocolates from Cocoa Mountain before heading back to the cottage. On our way back we spotted a hitch hiker. As we had room we checked where he was going and his plan was to go to Sandwood bay so we took him right to teh car park at Blairmore where the walk starts from. Roz and I dropped the kids at the cottage then went for a wander down to Shegra. The machar land there is the modt beautiful wild camping spot. Just a stunning location.

The weather was fantastic again today too. We'd been worried as both the BBC forecast and teh one on our phones have had it cool and pouring with rain up here all week. Couldn't have been further from the truth though.
