This afternoon I had a few beers with Gerben Grotenhuis in Stairway to heaven in Utrecht. About 4 or 5 years ago he was my trainee and we still keep in touch. Gerben works as a professional photographer as well now and he has just finished a brilliant and humorous photo series called "The toilet diaries" which resulted in a calendar and a soon to be released book. When we get together there's always a lot of positive energy, and a lot to talk about: plans, work, creativity, life. A great afternoon again!
