Every little helps

This is a machine used to extract weed from the lake - there has been rather a lot this year. It was brought out especially for our swim tonight, but although there are huge piles of weed on the shore, there was still a lot in there.

A lovely swim despite the weed, with the rain stopping and the sun coming out just in time for it.
