Dilapidation revisited

I remembered my camera today so revisited the mooring posts at Culham Lock and attempted to do them more justice than I managed with my phone the other day.

I tried to walk from the Lock to Sutton Pools but poor Jake's legs gave out long before we reached our target. Can't seem to shake the feeling that I've been merely going through the motions for a long time now - a facsimile of life, marking time until extinction.
