Prickly Plants #9

This is obviously another of the thistle family, although I've missed it blooming by a couple of weeks! This will be the last of the pricklies as I've blipped the most common ones and, although I made a mental note of the whereabouts of a few other small prickly plants, I can't remember where they are!

An update on the forest fire yesterday... the Bombers managed to put it out thank goodness and, although the fire planes were still flying this morning, there was no smoke visible. I've posted a few smoke pics here. I tried searching on the net for news about the fire but couldn't find anything.
