This is indeed literally "street art!"

This is a replica of a piece of Glasgow street installed in the restaurant of Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.

Mark Boyle is the artist. His belief was that art should not preclude anything and this led to a number of these creations.

In its day, his work was considered groundbreaking.
