Obstacles

When I was a trainee in Koli National Park, there were routes that were partly accessible by wheelchair. At our neighbouring nature path, however, the actual paths aren't even necessarily accessible by foot. The trees and vegetation in the area are intentionally left as they are so the fallen trees are left where they are. Sometimes the trees fall over the routes. I've seen some of the tree trunks cut in half so the path is clear, but obviously this isn't done very often. A part of the official route is also virtually unrecognizable under a lush forest of ferns. The marked parts are in some spots less accessible and recognizable than some unmarked and "unofficial" paths.
