I love Delphiniums

but I cannot grow them because the snails eat them.. grr. That is the trouble with dry stone walling - there is plenty of nice sheltered holes for them to overwinter in. Instead I now grow Monkshood (I know it is deathly poisonous.. but I am pretty grown up and handle it with care). I love it.. the snails don't touch it although if they did.. I might be able to grow Delphiniums!!!
