I was all set up to do several savoury recipes today. I made this dhal soup and a pork ragout which has coffee in it (really very nice. Bizarre. But nice.) and was going to do a pork, date and quinoa thing etc. etc.

At 2pm I had a text from my house buyer saying he was pulling out of the sale. So no happy months with the alpacas and no new house with specially chosen fixtures and fittings.

The word devastated doesn't really cover it if I'm honest with you.

What a crap month this has been.
