Your batteries aren't empty!!! They are new!!!!

My small Olympus camera, the one I keep in my purse for normal, daily use, is fibbing a bit.

When I press the power button it immeditely starts to beep and show the 'battery empty' sign on the display. Very annoying for spur of the moment shots. Like that rabbit I missed earlier today because of this.

When I press the power button again to turn it off and then again to turn it on, it seems to work fine. But why it does this, I have no idea...
