Peacock Butterfly

I called at East Mill this morning to see the peregrines, there was one perched on a ledge but not much action before I left for work. I met DaveNaylor there so hope he saw some action later.

This evening was a contrast to last, tonight I got home to a lovely summers evening and we went for a walk up Bunkers Hill behind our house.

In one small section of hedgerow we found many insects all together, the prettiest being this Peacock Butterfly
