Up Sweet Creek Without a Paddle

We thought we'd try out a bit of a hike on a new trail.

Down toward the coast near Mapleton is a canyon with Sweet Creek at its heart.

A mighty fine hiking trail allows for an easy walk up the canyon past a series of waterfalls.

Kathy, Bill, and I were charmed by the beauty of this little nook of Oregon country.
