Crail Harbour, Fife

To escape the possible rain showers, we headed to the Kingdom of Fife today and my friend was very excited to visit St Andrews. Not, alas, for it's ancient Cathedral and Castle and lovely University buidlings, but because Kate and Will had met there and walked these very same streets!!

After lunch, it was on to the coast for a tour of the lovely fishing villages of Crail, Pittenweem, Anstruther and St Monans, all looking even more interesting in the mix of sunshine and heavy clouds. However, it didn't rain and we were able to sit at the harbour at Anstruther eating fish and chips with our fingers (a first for my friend!) in glorious sunshine.
