Clifftop Drama

A trip to the Minack Theatre to see a production of Wuthering Heights on what is the last day of our holiday in Cornwall. A spectacular setting right on the edge of the cliffs with the sea as a backdrop. It was a good production which held our attention completely although I could imagine that the waves, the seabirds, the occasional passing boat or aircraft prove to be quite a distraction with less engaging performances.

For a landlocked text the location proved to be suitably dramatic, particularly as the thunder rolled and the rain came down as Heathcliff declared his torment. As my camera was firmly under my cagoule by that point, it has to be a soon-to expire Cathy instead.
