Anniversary

We celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary in style with drinks and dinner at Blythswood Square. It is a special place for us after we spent New Year there. It is amazing that a few months on we only live around the corner!

We started our evening with cocktails in the Saloon bar relaxing on a very comfortable sofa, opening the cards we had been sent and exchanging gifts with one another. As always I loved exactly what Jen got me, watch this space for these things being shown on blip!

Our dinner was amazing, I had the Highland haunch of venison with beetroot textures. Jen had the steamed sea bass with ceviche, peas broad beans and gem lettuce. It was just so so tasty, wonderful flavour combinations that worked perfectly and we really enjoyed it. We finished with sharing a scoop of bramley apple and melon sorbet which was a very nice treat.

A lovely walk home on a warm evening was the perfect end to the night. I will always remember this evening.
