So That's the Bunnet Stane

I have lived here for 40 years and although I knew of the Bunnet Stane (Bonnet Stone if you are posh), and had seen photos of it, I had never set eyes on it myself until today.

It is a little off the beaten track and required a mini-expedition (well, a 5-mile round-trip hike) to reach it.
It is a naturally weathered carboniferous sandstone outcrop. There is also an old man-made cave beneath it and that is the subject of much folklore and debate.
