Cousins from the Netherlands shown Stanwell Park

Like their parents before them, in 1972, a few weeks ago I took my cousins on a drive down to Wollongong.
This SCENE so MUCH reminds me of how I used to start almost all of the 37 years of teaching primary school classes.
I would draw a figure ( an 'elf') on the board, looking down at his reflection in the water and I would ask my pupils to list as many 'scenarios' as possible describing what this 'elf' was doing there.
This gave me SOME insight into how creative their thinking was. Depending on how many DIFFERENT possibilities that they listed.
