Kelvinbridge: A Node

We returned to the car we had parked on Belmont Street, with two sea bass, a packet of midget gems, a mop and a brush, while the other made a detour to the cash machine and the fruit and veg shop on Great Western Road.

I was concerned that the half-hour we had paid for on the meter had already expired, but I couldn't help stopping to look at this wall, with its messages, intentional and unintentional, and Frank Kuppner's compelling rambling poem entitled 'Kelvinbridge: A Node' which veers off from some random encounters nearby back to a road accident in 1920 and forward to the end of the world. Oddly cheerful.
