The Blipper & her Target!

With Jamazen having handed the Blip Ilford Instamatic camera on to GingerNan yesterday, it was GingerNan's turn today to find her 'Stranger'. It didn't take her long, focussing on John (husband of tig.bmp) and his fascinating old Zeiss camera.

I've been in touch with tig.bmp for quite a while now, setting up a blipmeet for today, for when she and her family arrived in Christchurch. Having a flight examiner living next door to me proved fortuitous, meaning that the tig.bmp family could meet up with Les Munro, the only surviving pilot of Dambusters' fame - you should check it out! They were so excited about it - it was like meeting a living legend - they'd been really hoping that they could meet him.

And today's meeting worked out well too, with some local blippers able to come and meet tig.bmp - mpp26, Jamazen and GingerNan. Isn't it super how blip works like this! It was the first time I've met mpp26 - even though we've been exchanging comments for quite a while!
