Friends really

Our friend Marilyn was over for a rehearsal of the songs for a concert we're giving together in a couple of weeks. Afterwards we sat in the garden and had tea and scones.

This bench (which has no legs) was designed for one person either end and a cat stretched out in between. As you can see, Eggy failed to show up for the photo!

I tried to photograph the bees buzzing around the lavender but didn't have much luck, except with one which either couldn't or wouldn't fly - just crawled up and down a lavender stem and stretched across to another. Hope it's okay.
