One for the road

We were supposed to head back today.
And then we didn't.
Nana found it hard to conceal her delight when we told her that perhaps we would be staying for one more night.
One more night of trying to put the kids to bed.
And then trying to prevent the dogs from attempting to lie beside the kids. And then trying to prevent the cat from being chased into the room where the kids have finally gone to sleep.
And then going to bed with the dogs on a leash.
And then listening to Jojo growl whenever someone goes for a wee during the night.
And then trying to take the dogs for their morning wee without waking up the kids. Or encountering the cat.

It's all action at Nana's. And most of the day is taken by closely monitoring the interactions between grandchildren, dogs, cat and hens.

It was all action in the mountain dunes today too. It would have been a pity to miss this to drive into the mist instead.
