The Happy Bug Hotel

This wonderful luxury bug hotel is in a wildlife and butterfly garden in ancient lime woodlands at Bardney, Lincolnshire. Each hole in the wall had a pine cone in it to make tiny nooks and crannies for bugs. Today was beautiful and the garden was alive with wildflowers, butterflies, bees and pondlife. A peaceful haven. The Forestry Commission upkeep the woodlands and there is a large meadow of scientific interest which is left undisturbed where orchids and fritillary butterflies can be seen. Wonderful.
