Musselly Walk

By a minor error in navigation we ended up in Musselburgh rather than Portobello. For some reason we haven't walked the beach there but enjoyed the walk, amongst the myriad mussel shells.

This piece of driftwood caught my eye with its growth rings and colony of shells set against the rounded pebbles.

Don't tell Portobello but I preferred this interesting beach to their manicured sands.
