Flying without wings - These little seed heads can fly at the most amazing heights and over the most amazing distances. Let go of one in the wind and just watch it go.

These are the seed heads of my Gazania flowers. After I’d taken this shot of them I took them out into the garden and watched them do their thing. Who knows where they are now. Maybe I’ll see them again one day reincarnated as new beautifully coloured flowers.
