Well done, girls!

Our neighbour's sheep have done a good job of nibbling off the ragwort from the bank, where it is too steep for us to want to pull it up by hand. They look keen to move on to their next challenge!

I love the patchwork of field colours behind them in the valley. The dark green fields are pasture fields where the cows are grazing. The bright green fields in the middle on the left are the fields that were mowed for silage last week. The pale gold fields are spring barley, ripening fast. And the brown field is winter oil seed rape that will be the first crop to be harvested next week.
