Recession? What recession?

Not much of a recession going on if you see all the yachts about.

Picked C's mom up & went to the coffee morning. Had coffee & scones & bought a quilt to put on our picnic table. Then we went to town for C's haircut, but stopped at the cycle shop on the way to get a few bits & bobs for our bikes. Did a bit on charity shop shopping & bought cycle shorts for C. We had lunch in No1 Bistro & then went to Shotley to ice cream & ale at the Shipwreck.

We took a ride down the road to test C's new mirror & again a few hours later to test his new lights.

I met Felipe in the Sports Direct. His parent in law are in church with me ( it was his father in law who got sick in church a few weeks ago). He is Chilian & they are doing missionary work near Malaga in Spain. They spent every other summer in England to see Sarah's family & visit all the congregations that sponsor them. The boys wanted souvenirs to take home. He bought 2 England football shirts. Don't know how well that will go down in Espana.
