Clouded Yellow

I was leading a walk today for an enthusiastic group from Chesham & District Natural History Society. A surprise sighting in the meadow plots in the centre of the nature reserve was this Clouded Yellow, the first for me this year. Despite the rather dull conditions we saw 19 species of butterflies, including both Dark Green and Silver-washed Fritillaries and a mating pair of Small Coppers.
