Lunch with Auntie Jean

Carrying on the family theme we set off from Stamford to Bury to take Auntie Jean out for lunch. I haven't seen her for over a year and I was very sad to hear that she had become so disabled that she has had to go into a nursing home now. But what a home! Stowlangtoft Hall is quite an exceptional place and she seems extremely happy there. She is having to sell her house to pay for it of course which is a great shame but I'm so glad that she has come to this decision whilst she was able to decide for herself. She is a remarkable Auntie!
I hired a disabled taxi and we took her to the pub for lunch which was a real treat for her. Our friends Brian and Ruth also met us there and a grand time was had by all!

Family....friends....two of the most important things in life - What a lovely weekend!
