Pocket Holes

This strange looking thing is a Pocket Hole jig. And it’s something I’m using for the first time in the attempted construction of some cabinets for my garage. To be honest it’s not going well (but I might be worrying about the odd couple of millimetres difference between panels). Time will tell. I do know it’s taking far longer than the YouTube videos make you believe. They typically only take 20 minutes to cut the sheet material to size, drill all the pocket holes, sand, assemble and apply finish. I know the weather hasn’t helped but I’m up to a week so far!
