Standalone Mic

Tonight was our first fringe show on a school night. The show of choice: Andrew Lawrence - There is no Escape.
We've been a stalwart fan of Mr Lawrence seeing him when we was a young spritely thing in Pleasance's Cabaret Bar venue. Now he's moved to a larger venue which tonight was rammed (Mainly because it is full of locals taking advantage of the 2-for-1 deals on today).

His set was an average performance, spending a good 20 minutes doing the usual patronising piss-take of the first row of the audience. He then went into his normal diatribe monologues which were very enjoyable, finising off with another few minutes going after those same audience members. Shuffling off after this.
Enjoyable and we'll see him again next year.
