A keeper...

On Amazon they're a bit naughty as they are selling a "group" of Majorette models. In fact it isn't a group, but the seller sends you one of the diecasts from a group of 6 at random. Luckily I had cottoned onto this (others hadn't according to some of the feedback) and so awaited one of them, wondering what it would be out of the six on offer.
The idea was to put a bit of mark up on it (I'm experimenting) then sell it on, on Vinted. Unfortunately, out of the six I got, was a typically French Citroen H type van. I say *unfortunately*, because I collect them.

So this one will have to be a keeper and won't be put on sale. If by chance I try the same thing and get another, then I'll sell that one on.

Sales of models on Vinted have worked better than expected. People obviously cherry pick the best ones, so I have about 6 out of 30 odd models that I had listed, that haven't sold yet. I have a lot more to add, plus some transport related magazines.

The idea is not only to make a bit of extra cash, but also to thin out my model collection (failed miserably so far) and keep it to ones I actually want. A plan is to to build a model layout of a bus garage I occasionally worked at in Leicester back in the first half of the 90's. So any extra cash can go towards that.
