Gifford's

Busy morning, then in the afternoon took the kids to see Gifford's Circus in Frampton-on-Severn. It's the seventh year that we've seen this circus, and it's always really excellent. A traditional old-school (in the best possible sense) one-ring circus. No animal cruelty, no rubbish clowns; great live music. At the end of each show, all the kids are invited into the ring and dance with all the cast. All four of us love it.

A massive rainstorm opened up just after we got into the big top; torrential rain for about 15 minutes, and then the clouds moved on and the light was lovely.
