Manning the Boat

The husband decided he wanted to be Captain for the day so we hired a boat and went round Lake Windermere. Even I had a go... for a minute or two. Not that I was scared I was going to some how cause the boat to capsize or anything.... I was, however, planning in my head what our rescue plan would be should the boat capsize... and how we'd need to remove our life jackets so we could swim down and out of an upside down boat..... welcome to the workings of my mind, I blame my mother (she will be reading this)!

Anyway, after I'd run through various death scenarios and how we might avoid / escape them, it was quite an enjoyable day!
